...above statement is the result of a conference held yesterday morning between President Lowell and Dean Yeomans. At first it had been the plan of the College authorities to require the men going to the June Camp to undergo a period of intensive training immediately after the completion of the early final examinations, followed by a two-weeks' vacation before the opening of the Camp. Upon further consideration, however, it was decided to leave the decision in this matter entirely in the hands of the University military authorities...

Major Flynn has as yet made no announcement as to the action which the Military Office will take with regard to the activities of candidates for the June Camp during the coming month. It is thought however, that arrangements will be made for carrying on a short course of intensive military instruction, followed by a short respite before the men-enter upon their duties at the Government school. Further particulars as to the action that will be taken by the military authorities in this matter will be published at an early date...

Another chance to join the June under age camps has been offered to undergraduates. According to a letter from the Adjutant General's office published in another column, the War Department will still receive applications for these camps. The Military Office should not fail to verify this news immediately and enroll any additional men who may want to go. There is already a long list of "alternates" filed at Headquarters, and many who did not enroll before April 28 may now find it possible to join. Whatever may have been the reasons for their holding back last week, no difficulties...
