BEIJING: Chinese officials arrested and ordered the expulsion of U.S. diplomat Bradley Gerdes on charges of spying in restricted military areas. Gerdes was arrested along with Kenji Maetani, his Japanese counterpart, while traveling through the southern town of Suixi.
