...most discouraging feature of the day was the poor work of the first eleven in its practice game with the third. This may be accounted for, however, as a result of the Wesleyan game. The third eleven not only kept the play in the first team's territory, but just at the end of the one half played, scored a touchdown on straight, simple plays. ...floors will be laid within two weeks. The work on the heating, ventilating and lighting apparatus has already been carried for enough to show many novel features. The boiler for the entire building is in the basement of Sever Hall and all the heating and ventilating ducts will be kept invisible. The large drawing room will be lighted by individual desk lights, so that the room can be used for work in the evening as well as during the day.
