Another means of increasing safety on campus is 24-hour universal keycard access. House affiliation means nothing when a dangerous situation presents itself to a student who lives in the Quad but happens to be down by the River. The only thing of importance is finding a safe haven. Right now, the situation is Houses, Houses everywhere, yet we can’t swipe in. We are all Harvard students, and these are all our Houses.
