Behind the line there is great uncertainty. Wurtemberg, though he gets through well, is slow in picking up the ball and sometimes wild in passing. Morrison, '91, and Graves are probably the best men for half-backs. Morrison is a good kicker and rusher though he is slow in starting and does not ward off well. Graves is sure of either full back or half back as his tackling and kicking are very good. His catching is a little uncertain but his dodging and running are excellent. Tracey, full-back, is an awkward player, and while often making brilliant plays...

...Yale's champion high kicker, has entered the hitch and kick contest. Wason, of Technology, will also enter. The running high jump will have entries from Harvard, Technology and the Union and Association gymnasiums. Wason, of Tech, is said to be able to jump 5 ft. 6 in. Tickets for the games are now on sales at Music Hall. The medals are on exhibition at the corner of Winter and Washington streets, Boston. The probabilities are that the games will be of great interest to college men and amateur athletics generally...

There are quite a number of good players in college who are not practicing yet. Among these may be mentioned "Billy" Bull, full-back on the eleven last fall, who is as skillful a fielder as kicker. He played left field on his freshman team, and was one of the few good men on the '89 nine; McMillan, '89; Daval, Greer and G. Mason, '88, S., have all had more or less experience in college games and are fair players...
