Died. Rear Admiral Husband E. Kimmel, 86, commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor during the devastating Japanese attack on Dec. 7, 1941; of a heart attack; in Groton, Conn. In a military investigation following the Pearl Harbor debacle, Kimmel and his Army counterpart, Lieut. General Walter C.
