Exactly one minute after Ikauniks' tally, Dwinell dropped a pass to Gene Kinasewich, who made the score 5 to 3. Coach "Cooney" Weiland initiated a new line in the game with Dwinell teaming with the varsitys' two highest scores--Kinasewich and Tim Taylor. The change paid off as Dwinell later set up Taylor's second goal of the day and scored one of his own that made the score 10 to 4. Ikauniks and captain Dave Grannis also scored twice...
