George Anderson King, Jr., '18, of Washington, D. C., was elected captain of the cross-country team for the season of 1917 at a meeting of the members of this year's team yesterday afternoon. King prepared at Friends' School, Washington, D. C., but never ran in competition until his Freshman year.
