There are now on exhibition at the Fogg Art Museum two primitive Italian paintings lent by Mr. A. Kingsley Porter, lecturer of architecture at Yale University. One of the pictures is a figure of St. Michael, by the Byzantine Gothic Guariento of Padua. The form is very similar to the figures of the angels of the Heavenly Host, by the same painter, in the Museum of Padua.
