Then, the veteran Bellboy team gathered itself and, led by sparkplug Goldie Goldsmith, began calmly and smoothly to overtake the fast-tiring and worried Kirkland five. The turning point came then Goldsmith stole the ball twice in succession and laid it up for scores. After that, Lowell turned on the pressure and won going away, Goldsmith getting points. It was the fifth straight victory for Lowell, and Kirkland's third less against two wins. Kirkland walked off with the B league game...
