His eyes rolled toward the crowd of blue uniforms just outside the door. The Leatherman did have a knife in it and burglars with weapons do get in more trouble than burglars without them. He probably only used it as a jimmy though - and I couldn't quite live with the idea of keeping him in Sing Sing an extra five years on my account. A patient advocacy dilemma resolved itself...

They're reluctant to think about the Big Fear, because that fear is too close to the headlines, and about the current Big Villains, because that means Islamic extremists. In Hollywood today, greed is the handmaiden of timidity. I envision a studio V.P. for marketing...
Friday, August 4, 1:37 a.m.: Officers took a report of an individual who had been approached by an unknown individual with a knife at the Office of the Registrar. The reporting individual said they were approached by the unknown individual, who asked for the time. After they stated that they didn’t know the time, the individual with the knife asked for directions. At this point, the reporting individual noticed the unknown individual moving closer to them and identified in their possession a six inch long knife. At this point, the reporting individual fled the area...
