...dismissal, such a claim reeks of elitism. Though Harvard touts itself as an “ivory tower,” the undefined notion of behavior befitting of a Harvard student imposes a higher expectation of conduct (simply because of the Harvard name) without making clear what actions can knock us off that high ground. While we hope that Ad Board limits its scope solely to those actions that pertain to our lives as Harvard students, even more crucial is its explicit delineation of what actions warrant its intervention...

...going, he’s definitely going places. Burkle has been a powerful force within the Harvard theater community, directing and starring in a number of major productions despite being legally blind. His involvement in on-campus arts recently culminated with his thesis project “Knock: or, the Triumph of Medicine,” a play that he translated from the original French and directed on the Loeb Mainstage. Chung has admitted no wrongdoing, but his arrest looks likely to knock Hyundai's international expansion plans off course. The investigation into Hyundai has already delayed the construction of an auto plant in the Czech Republic, and Kia postponed the groundbreaking for a factory...

...example - officials see glimmers of hope. "If nothing else, these are 150 kids who are getting attention and staying off the streets," Genestier says. "The street is where we're losing our youth today." Borloo himself identifies the mean streets - and meaner projects - as sources of unrest. One solution: knock down some of those dehumanizing tower blocks. The whole of central Epinay would be a candidate for this treatment; a patchwork of massive concrete blocks, it is instantly intimidating and crushingly ugly. And the center of Epinay isn't the worst; at the town's western end lies Orgemont, whose...
