...Natural History Society was the first college organization, so far, as we know, under whose auspices prominent lecturers were invited to speak before the students of Harvard. Having started such an excellent custom, the society now shows that it knows how to maintain it. The series of lectures on the Natural History of New England, of which the first is given this evening, promises to be the most interesting of the year, as well as the most instructive.
