...truth of Ignatiev's "choice" argument is that Black students or female students don't have to pay any more money to go to Harvard than those not in these groups. Students who keep kosher effectively have to pay more for school when they are not provided with the services that other students are--namely, lunch and dinner. Kosher students haven't even made any demands for breakfast...
