Harvard fans spent much of the game giving thanks for small favors, such as the failure of Brown defenders to intercept Kubacki aerials which floated into their hands and the occasional Crimson recovery of its own fumbles. The Bruins had their own problems as well in the first two quarters, but those were ironed out by the time the third quarter began...

Anderson will be counting heavily, however, on the Brown defense, which has let up the fewest points in the Ivies, to contain Kubacki and Co. "I think we have a good defense. We have a lot of people returning from last year," Anderson said. He adds, though, that the defense is very young, and that it will have to put on "one of the greatest performances of all time." Anderson claims that the defensive secondary hasn't been tested yet, and Harvard should stage a big passing game...

...There have been some breakdowns in our patterns in the past two weeks," Restic said. "Problems like men not getting off the line effectively and failing to clear defenses have hurt Kubacki's chances of getting the ball to them. We can't have that happening this weekend, and we won't. The receivers will be open: I can almost guarantee that. I just hope Jimmy has a good day throwing the ball...
