There are still touches of the bizarre: a poster advertises topless dancers parading engagingly as boxers--gloves, helmet, Everlast. The political cabarets have become almost purely theaters, and the shows are tame; one has closed down to become a children's theater. Tourists sightseeing among the shops and cafés on West Berlin's festive Kurfurstendamm were startled last week at the spectacle of a distinguished, middle-aged man with yellow paint splattered over his head and onto the shoulders of his blue blazer. He was walking back and forth carrying a large hand-lettered sign that read: TU [Technical University] PROFESSOR-UNPOPULAR WITH THE COMMUNISTS
