Some Black students believe that the College challenges their groups by encouraging mainstream involvement. When Harvard commissioned a study in response to student demands for a Third World Center, the study praised groups like Kuumba and Black CAST for bringing students of all races together and proving a forum for the expression of cultural diversity.
