...hound run of the season was held yesterday afternoon. The hares, Seelye, '88, and Priest, '91, laid a good cross-country trail to Belmont, returning by way of Fresh Pond. The break was on Concord Avenue about a mile from the college. There were thirteen honnds led by Alexander, L. S. The hares won the run by about thirty minutes. The Board concurred in the following appointments made by the President and fellows: Frederick L. Ames to be a fellow of the corporation in place of Francis Parkman, resigned; James R. Wheeler, instructor in Greek and Latin for 1888-89; and Frank W. Nicholson, instructor in Sanscrit. Prof. Joseph Lovering, LL.
