WHEN I MOVED FROM COLORADO TO California eight years ago, I thought that the illegals were nice people who provided cheap labor and that we probably should have open borders. But I soon realized the effect that illegal immigration is having on my kids' schools, the economy and my taxes. It is a major factor in the fiscal woes of California.
