There has been much splendid giving so far in the Campaign. We must not let the finale lag. Every contribution, large or small, will help Harvard reach its goal, but we need especially to think in large amounts. Pending the declaration of war by Congress, activities in the University are continuing very much as usual, although the tension of the situation has caused interest in everything but military organizations to lag. He generally covers his man well, but has a tendency to lag behind the line slightly, and his passes are often inaccurate. H. M. Thacher's work has improved lately, and W. Morgan held up the other end of the line in good shape, although his light weight sometimes counted against him. The forwards, however, still show a tendency to lag. All of them are also apt to skate out of position and run into each other, getting their passes off slowly, and in the case of the wings, playing the boards too much...
