Francis Skiddy Marden, Jr., '18, of New York City, was drowned in Otsego Lake Cooperstown, N. Y., on July 23. Marden, who was 20 years old was drowned while bathing with the children of Mrs. W. G. Meadows of Buffalo, one of whom he was tutoring. Help was summoned, but darkness hampered the searchers. Later the lake was dragged and the body was found in 20 feet of water...
