...hundred and twenty yards dash, with five starters in the first and four, in the other two. This was one of the prettiest events of the afternoon. In the first heat, C. N. Smith, B and N., took the lead at the start and finished first, with S. M. Lane second. C. Brewer, Hopkinson's, lead the entire way in the second heat and finished first, looking at the second man, M. Grass, W. H. S. F. H. Bigelow, W. H. S., took third easily. The final heat was won by C.
