...Divinity School has in a measure kept pace with the other departments of the University and last year had enrolled the largest number of students in its history. There are over fifty law schools in the United States, most of them connected with colleges or universities. The number of students in them is increasing every year, Harvard, the largest school, having this year an attendance of 363. The oldest American course in law is at the University of Pennsylvania, which was founded in 1789.
