Yale shut out Princeton by the score of 6 to 0 in the first game of their annual baseball series played last Saturday at New Haven. Yale won the game in the first inning, when four runs resulted from Drewes's weak pitching and Yale's timely hitting. Although the University and Freshman crew squads returned to Cambridge from Ithaca early last Tuesday morning, all the men were given a rest and rowing was not resumed again until Thursday. Crew A, which was captained by Severance at No. 3, won by about eight lengths in fast time. It seems to be a well-developed and smooth four-oar for so early in the season.
