...practice is on the lines laid out for the 'varsity by Mr. Lathrop. As yet the team has no tricks, and but half a dozen plays, ordinary blocks, and attacks on different points of the line. The coaches are spending most of their time in teaching the men quick, snappy interference, close following of the ball, and speedy play. The backs are being trained to kick by J.
