After the kickoff to the second, the latter punted after one play. Then the first, on the second's 30-yard line, tried on onside kick, which was blocked by Dore. Two tandem plays through tackle and a punt gave the first the ball again on their 45-yard line. Wendell, on a double pass, made an excellent onside kick, which was recovered on the second's 50-yard line by Fish.
