Trials will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock to select the cross country team which will run against Technology on November 12, and which will enter the intercollegiate run to be held the latter part of this month. Under very favorable weather conditions the first Weld graded crew won the first section race in the fall regatta yesterday afternoon, and the third Newell won in the second section, the former defeating the first Newell crew by two and a half lengths, and the latter winning easily from the third Weld by about five lengths. The time of the first Weld was 10 minutes and 13 seconds, and that of the third Newell 10 minutes and 31 seconds. The winners of both races took the lead from the start and maintained it throughout the race...
