Last night in Sanders theatre Mr. Nikesch made his first appearance here with the Boston Symphony orchestra. The selections were admirably balanced and contrasted with one another extremely well. Mrs. Corinne Lawson appeared as the soloist of the evening and at once found favor with the audience. Her voice is not phenomenal either on quality or range but very pleasing and expressive.
