...Freshman and Middlesex four oared crews rowed two races over a half mile course on the Chaise River above the Stillman Infirmary yesterday afternoon. In the first race, between the Middlesex first and crews A and C of the Freshman squad, Middlesex took the lead at the start, though rowing a slightly lower stroke than either Freshman crew. Crew A soon dropped back, but crew C and Middlesex were never separated by open water. Middlesex finished in 2 minutes, 41 seconds, one-quarter of a length ahead of crew C, which was one and one-half lengths ahead of crew...
