Statistics compiled by the CRIMSON and published yesterday indicate that the New England States with their famous secondary schools are far from producing proportionately the greatest number of men of college distinction. Nominally, the statistics show the Southern States with a percentage of 32 per cent. to lead the list of men of distinction. These figures, however, must be discounted. Willcox, Jr. '17, who opposed Lockwood and Lennon, respectively, lost slightly through cautious starting, but made it up later in their relays. W. J. Bingham '16 started 4 yards behind Meredith and was able to close up the interval between, although he could not overtake the Pennsylvania captain...

This superb array of fighting men, consisting of four colonels, five majors and a private, will have little trouble in disposing of the few stragglers who will fight for the Lampoon. Cold reason and past experience lead to the expectation of a staggering victory for the CRIMSON...
