Taken all in all, the game from a Harvard standpoint was decidedly dispiriting. Not only did Andover lead for four innings by a single run made in the first inning, but up to the very last no chance was presented for the 'Varsity's winning by any appreciable score. As it was, Foster's home run barely saved Harvard from what might have been a veritable defeat...
