...Finally, I cut the kangaroo loin into strips and marinated them in coconut milk and the dining hall’s Thai peanut dressing for an hour. I then skewered the strips and grilled them for 3 minutes until they were cooked to medium rare (kangaroo meat is very lean, so it is important not to overcook it). I made a dipping sauce out of honey, peanut butter, crushed chilies, lime juice, salt, and pepper and heated it in the microwave. Coriander and lime slices served as garnish. Unfortunately, due to freezing, the texture of the kangaroo meat was stringy...
...Rice's best chance may be to lean on Israel to offer a few more concessions to Abbas on other issues, such as the release of more prisoners and the removal of roadblocks inside the West Bank. The change in supply management has increased competition among suppliers and subcontractors, which will allow Boeing to speed up final assembly of the 787. The goal is three days, in contrast to 14 days for the 777. Boeing hopes to produce up to 16 aircraft...
...wife, he's the exasperated but loving husband-and when she interrupts him by mopping up some water that has spilled at his feet, he pretends to get mad. "Quit frettin' about it! Y'all stop messin' around and listen!" People laugh-husbands nudge their wives-and then they lean in and listen, because Edwards is bearing down now, telling them they need "real change in America, serious change" and they won't get it by replacing George W. Bush with just any Democrat. "We need to take the power out of the hands of these insiders that are rigging...
