...lack of good forward material is the biggest problem which Coach Wachter has to face now. R. W. Fitts '23 is still out because of his injured leg and there are several men ineligible because of studies. Practice so far has been more for offensive rather than defensive play and no regular first or second teams have been picked...

...McLeish '23 and H. W. Holt '21 at left and right forward, and H. E. Feiring '23 and S. B. Chase '22 at left and right guard respectively. It is quite likely that R. W. Fitts '23' will replace Holt at right forward as soon as his injured leg is well. K. A. Buchanan '21 played centre for team B, G. T. Barker '23 and W. V. Miller '23 guards and T. C. ...Princeton game, alternated with Fitzgerald and Churchill at the quarter and halfback positions, and it is not at all unlikely that either or both of these men will replace the regulars before the Yale game. Sedgwick was again on team "B". Woods, suffering from a painful but not serious, leg-bruise, was the only man who did not take part in the practice. However, he spent his time limbering up under Doctor Nichols' direction...
