This continuing exodus of professors is in direct contrast to the large and growing number of students back in College this term. It is a disappointment to the latter to find so many desirable courses, once taught by professors, given by men of lower rank and less experience due to the absence of the former. After the free and willing sacrifices which all connected with the University have made during the war surely it cannot be unreasonably selfish to regard the continued depletion of the faculty as the over doing of a good thing.
