...curious, but I need to know more. Follow-up links are readily available, some official, some more casual. And there are plenty of information clearinghouses, sites where one can find verses from the King James version of Leviticus or a paper on the meaning of a Navajo Blessing Way Ceremony. There are catalogs of databases and libraries, along with listings of virtual religions that exist online only - apparently because all the roadside stands were taken...
They will learn that the rabbis seized upon an otherwise innocuous passage in Leviticus--God instructing the Israelites to observe his commandments and "live by them"--as an injunction not to die by them, and thus a subordination of all ritual to the higher value of preserving life...

Armey has a point. But he isn't being very clear about the Bible. The Book of Leviticus commands us to murder homosexuals when we find them sleeping together. Some people would call this extreme. The Bible is also very clear about a number of other things. For example, when God catches a man picking up twigs on the Sabbath and thereby violating His law against working, He demands the man's death.
