Time was called at 2.43. Amherst had the ball and Harvard had the advantage of a light wind. Amherst gained ten yards and then kicked. Sears returned and the ball went to Harvard in the middle of the field on a fumble. Cranston gained ten yards and Porter made a touchdown four minutes after the play was begun. Sears kicked the goal.
