About one hundred men reported yesterday for light track work on Soldiers Field. The sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers ran a short distance up and down North Harvard street; and the distance men ran about a mile along the Charles River parkway. The track has been rolled and brushed thoroughly, and should be in condition shortly. Spring practice will be held this year for the first time since 1906, beginning Monday, April 27, and continuing for two weeks. The work will be light, and will consist mainly in kicking practice. During the spring there will be informal weekly meetings, where the points of the game can be discussed and the coaches consulted.
