Luke learns enough, however, to give Darth Vader a spirited battle with his lightsword at the end of the film. But Vader proves a difficult foe to vanquish. Luke refuses and in a dream-like sequence soon finds himself using it against what seems to be the figure of Darth Vader, whom he decapitates. Vader's mask breaks away and reveals Luke's own face...
