...main virtue of "The Lady Has Plans" is that while Nazi spies, hidden blueprints and intrigue abound throughout, they are at all times kept subservient to the main aim of being amusing. The result is a lightweight comedy which has Lisbon and the war as a background but no pretensions to social significance.
