Immunology has even provided hope to victims of leprosy, one of man's oldest and most dreaded diseases. Last month, Dr. Soo Duk Lim of Seoul National University, Korea, told an international workshop on immunodeficiency diseases at St. Petersburg, Fla., that he has used immunotherapy successfully on 14 patients with lepromatous leprosy, the most severe form of the disease.
