...duty of every Harvard man to abstain from offering nostrums of his own for the avoidance of war. The President will avoid war if it can honorably be avoided. If it cannot honorably be avoided, war must come. It is the duty of Harvard men to line up ready for orders, not to take a vote as to the wisdom of those orders. If war must come, let us enter the war as a united nation, not as a divided nation after a bitter political struggle. Let every Harvard man frown on the suggestion that war be preceded...

...Haven on Monday by the score of 2 to 1. Dartmouth's victory was rather unexpected, in view of the recent showing Yale has made. Coach Fred Rocque, of Yale, used a new lineup which proved ineffective. Landon played in the defence, Bierwirth moving up to the forward line. Van Nostrand and Armour played the centre positions, and Gould, who has been ineligible until recently, played left wing. Bierwirth scored Yale's goal, while Paisley and Captain Tyler tallied for Dartmouth...

He generally covers his man well, but has a tendency to lag behind the line slightly, and his passes are often inaccurate. H. M. Bliss '17, who was regular right wing at the start of the season, is on pretty even terms with Kissel. He is a hard worker, but Kissel's slight advantage in speed ranks him ahead at present...

...clever enough to stand on its own legs. It needs the support of able men and beautiful women, neither of which are to be seen in abundance in this production. Mr. Cecil Lean, to whom is intrusted the lead, is a very good funny man, but his "line" is not one of the newest, and suffering as he is from a cold, his personality does not impress one as especially magnetic. Boston weather may be handed the blame for this man's indisposition, and his cheerfulness and willingness to try almost made up for his Ark wit. Playing opposite...
