Harvard used straight football tactics throughout the game. After the first ten minutes of play had proved that Brown has the best pair of ends which the team has met this season, the unsuccessful interference plays were given up for a steady battering of Brown's line. It was a succession of attacks on centre and right tackle which resulted in the two touchdowns made. In punting, Harvard had rather the worst of it.
