Indemnity. In compliance with the united demands of Italy and the Council of Ambassadors in Paris, Greece deposited in the Swiss National Bank the sum of 50,000,000 lire ($2,160,000) as a guarantee for such indemnity as the Council might ultimately fix (TIME, Sept. 24).
