...University basketball team was defeated by Brown last evening in the Gymnasium by the score of 15 to 10. The game was uninteresting at first because of the listless work of both teams; but in the second half, more life was put into the play and the result was in doubt until the last minute, when Brown scored two goals from the floor in quick succession. The University team showed the effects of the game with Tufts and was not up to its standard, being especially weak in shooting and passing, while Brown displayed unexpected strength...

...Freshman baseball team won a listless game from Middlesex, at Concord, last Saturday afternoon by the score of 3 to 2. The playing of the Freshmen was somewhat listless, and on the whole the game was uninteresting. Frequently the Arlington forwards would carry the puck near to the 1910 goal, but they lacked team play and their shooting was weak. In the first half the Freshmen were easily superior, scoring four well-earned goals. The play became more even during the second half and a long series of rushes up and down the rink consumed most of the period...

...stick work of both teams was poor, and the passing was inaccurate and weak. In the first period the puck was carried all over the rink, first threatening one goal and then the other. At no time was the attack of either team strong, and the play was listless and uninteresting. At the very end of the period Rumsey shot a goal from a scrimmage in front of the goal posts. In the second period Carpenter made some clever stops, and Rumsey shot a goal after cleverly rushing the puck down...
