...Government introduced in the House of Commons a bill which will authorize credits of $300,000,000 to Britain's allies. Poland will receive the lion's share of the credits (one estimate had it that the Polish loan would amount to $200,000,000), but Rumania, Turkey, Greece and Egypt are also expected to share. Almost all the money, which will be lent through the Board of Trade, the British equivalent of the U. S. Department of Commerce will be spent in Britain to buy munitions, raw materials, war supplies.
