Caesar dallied with Cleopatra on the Nile but could never marry her, presuming he had wanted to, because there was Calpurnia back at home, and she was above suspicion and therefore un-divorceable...
...tour of New England and in the course of that tour I took him to visit Harvard--my first return there in a number of years. I was ashamed for him to see the sleazy characters who were wandering around the Yard. However, I would not have one lock of their greasy looking, long hair shorn by edict nor force them near a drop of water nor insist that they wear perfume.
