...Athletic Association requests that all men having athletic equipment in the lockers at Soldiers Field remove it before the Christmas vacation and turn in the keys to the attendant. This request is made in order to facilitate the cleaning of the building during the recess and in case men fail to remove their paraphernalia the articles will be put together and tagged. Men are warned, however, that, even though care is exercised, considerable confusion is inevitable and may result in the loss of their belongings. Only 54 candidates for the interclass football series reported at the Locker Building yesterday afternoon, including 18 Freshmen, 22 Sophomores, 8 Juniors, and 6 Seniors. More men are urged to report from all four classes, but particularly for the 1916 and 1917 teams, in order to insure the success of the series. The candidates yesterday afternoon were given blackboard talks and signal drills, and the same program will be followed today. The two preliminary games, Seniors and Freshmen and Juniors and Sophomores, will be played tomorrow afternoon...
