...University and Freshman crew squads leave for Red Top, the training quarters at New London, this morning, reaching the quarters in time for the first practice this afternoon. The launches went down last week, and boat-rigger Hart and a carpenter took the shells down Saturday night, so that everything will be ready when the men arrive. Four eight-oared shells, one four oar, and two singles were taken. An addition has recently been built on to the dining hall at the quarters so that both squads can eat together. ...Harvard Club of Boston has arranged to run a special train to and from New London on June 19 for the use of members and their guests. It will arrive at New London in time for the University second crew and Freshman eight-oared races in the morning. After these races luncheon will be served on the "Chester W. Chapin," a Norwich Line steamer which has been chartered by the Club

First prizes in the Boylston elocution contest were awarded to Tallman C. Bookhout '15, of Roxbury, N. Y., and Lionel de Jersey Harvard '15, of London, England, as a result of the final round in Sanders Theatre last evening. Each speaker was given a prize of $30.
