Last week, the State had Queen Helen on trial for grand theft, soliciting a bribe and conspiracy. Her co-defendants were Convict Weinblatt and easy-going Pete Werner. Most damaging testimony was offered by the trio's accuser, Gertrude Davey, proprietor of Hollywood's Lon Chancy Jr. Cafe.
