Lehigh's 45-13 drubbing of the Harvard football team was so lopsided that it's difficult to gage what the Crimson can learn from this loss.
The McDavitt goal ended a long string of missed opportunities for Harvard (7-3, 3-0 Ivy) who outshot the Huskies by a lopsided 18-2 margin. The Crimson earned 10 penalty corners and allowed just one for Northeastern.
The women's race featured the traditional Harvard-Yale-Princeton format, and like their male counterparts, the Eli women won in convincing style. They beat Harvard by a score of 15-47 and Princeton by a likewise lopsided 18-43.
The 7-0 decision was the most lopsided loss suffered all year by the Wildcats, who played No. 9 Duke earlier this season and lost by only two goals. Davidson is currently ranked No. 9 in the Southeast region.
The team also defeated George Washington, 13-3, and Salem-Teikyo, 16-7. Both wins were as predictable as they were lopsided.
